As
a Personal Trainer, I was limited to an 8-hour day. I could no
longer accommodate new clients who needed me. I founded Over the
Hill Fitness for YOU
.the millions of people who are over
40 years old. People with a desire to be active and fit, and who
want to live with an abundance of energy!
In
the Western world, there is a perceived notion that you are old
and wary at the ripe age of 40. And the years that follow are
"all down hill'. My
response to that, is "WHAT HILL? I don't see a hill."
Age is an attitude. Age is a number. Besides, numbers are infinite.
The
purpose of a real hill is CHALLENGE. You can bike, run, ski, rollerblade
(or whatever your heart desires) up, down and over hills.
Perceived
or real, when it comes to hills; Remember, the view becomes much
clearer at the top. However, to get there you have to be fit and
healthy. You MUST make a commitment TODAY!
The
system is tried and true. First, EXERCISE, in the form of strength
training. Train for function and protect your joints. Next, change
your eating habits. I did not say "diet". Ever notice
diet is a four-letter word, and the first three letters spell
.DIE?
Think of food as fuel. Your body needs it. How can your body run
at an optimum level on potato chips, soda and french fries?
Last,
it's in your mind. Change your attitude and be positive. Like
I said, "What HILL? I don't see a hill." But then again,
aren't there more hills out there?
